Melted Crayon Art

Five hours, two hot glue guns, and one burnt hand later, my masterpiece was created.  This is probably my proudest and favorite thing I've ever made.  And I got me and A in my art class! You have to be extra careful but it's rather simple to make:

Things you'll need:
-Hot glue gun
-Pack of crayons
-Hard white canvas board

1.  Find an open area and put newspapers, tarp, drop clothe or whatever you use down around your work area.
2.  Draw on your figures on your board then carefully paint them black.  Let them dry then tape them up so you don't get any crayon on them.
3.  Once you've picked out the colors that you want to use turn on your hot glue gun.  You're going to be careful now because the crayons might not necessarily fit in the glue gun.
4.  Start pushing the crayons threw the glue gun but turn it off after a couple minutes and let it cool off before you turn it back on and keep working.  The crayons are not as thick as glue so it will melt threw your glue gun and get on your hands and drip.  It will also heat up considerably so you want to make sure you turn it off after a couple minutes.  I didn't do this my first time and my glue gun caught on fire, burned my hand.
5.  Just keep pushing crayons threw until you think you're done!  Once you're done be sure not to move it much since the melted crayon falls off easily.
